Oh my God, it's a traditional artwork

I named her Jacinta, and this is her story and info:

Name: Jacinta
Gender: Female
Sex: Female
Age: She was about one year old when she joined the Plaguedoctor, and stays at that age due to his influence.
Personalty: Considerate | Kind | Stubborn | Sometimes a bit shy around strangers - but not around those she knows | Actually has a love for literature, and food. Especially food | 
History: Jacinta was born and grew up in the streets of some big city around the 1700s. Due to her unusual markings and eyes, she stood out like a sore thumb, becoming a target for both hostile rats, other animals and humans alike. Being considerably smaller and weaker than her bigger counterparts, she had a hard time fending for herself. Almost starved and weakened from being chased by a cat, she eventually collapsed, believing herself as good as dead. When she opened her eyes again, two claw like hands hold her up and she was looking right into what she thought was the face of a sinister bird demon, but what turned out to be a man wearing a plague doctor's mask. Scared, she tried to escape, thinking that she was done for. She squeaked something like wanting to be left alone, and was surprised to find that the plague doctor could understand her and converse with her. 
She also noticed that she was actually not feeling as weak as she did before, and that her senses seemed to have improved as well. She soon found out that this was due to the Plaguedoctor's (which is what he simply introduced himself as) influence, who took her in. She didn't fully understood who or rather what he really was, but realized he certainly wasn't human, but something darker. Nevertheless, she stayed with him, noticing that, due to his influence, be it magic or something darker, she didn't age anymore. She wasn't alone though; many rats are always seen near the Plaguedoctor, and she quickly became a part of them. Most of the other rats are a bit more like the beak doctor, a bit dark in personality and mind, though she hesitates to call them evil. She kept her kind personality, but is still loyal to the Doctor, being convinced that she owes him her life. She still has her own mind though, and you could probably call her the angel on his shoulder.
Favorite food: She loves all kinds of food, but has a special place in her heart for dried fruits and zwieback (rusk).
Pack: Her pack consists of the many rats that accompany the Plaguedoctor. To her surprise, they welcomed her more than willingly, and even though they all aren't really normal rats anymore, they still enjoy doing the stuff rats do together.

Admittedly, it's not to elaborate of a story. But I really like her nonetheless. Her design is so pretty and she makes such a lovely rat companion for my persona, the Plaguedoctor. I plan on drawing her and other rats some more in the future. Maybe traditionally, maybe digitally. It's easier to get the colors right using the latter. But I enjoy using traditional media again as well. Even though my traditional works pretty much suck. xD But it was a lot of fun so I will do it again anyway.
